Amsterdam/Munich, June 26, 2026 — The fast-growing destination charging operator Pluq, headquartered in Amsterdam, looks back on a successful presence at this year’s Power2Drive Europe, which took place in Munich from June 23 to 25. During the three-day trade fair, Pluq was represented by Co-Founder Pieter Zijlema alongside Martijn Wijnberg (Technical Director), Edwin van Haagen (Head of Operations), and Kylian Udo (Technical Asset Manager).

The Pluq team was particularly pleased to win the Charging Excellence Award. The award was presented by Road, a leading technology company that develops specialized fintech solutions for billing and processing charging transactions in the field of electric mobility. The award recognizes charging infrastructure operators for outstanding network performance, including excellent charger availability (uptime), high transaction success rates, and seamless, transparent billing processes for end users.

“The tremendous momentum, with over 2,600 international exhibitors and 100,000 trade visitors from 160 countries, underlines how essential cross-industry and cross-sector exchange is for the energy transition. Whether digital platforms, intelligent load management, or flexible charging infrastructure, the future of mobility requires reliable, scalable solutions. The fact that our work was recognized by Road with the Charging Excellence Award makes us proud and motivates us to continue scaling our network in Europe together with strong partners,” explains Pieter Zijlema, CEO and Co-Founder of Pluq.
